Categories

Well, since you're the admin now, I think I should ask you this. I have a few questions about what categories to give to certain articles. Like, what category should be given to, for example, Abraham Lincoln, Nikola Tesla and Marco Polo? And IF I or someone else decides to create an article on one of the Templar groups (NASA, Nazi party), would "Templar Groups" be a good category to give to them? Good question. Cuz I've been thinking of it for quite some time. I was thinking maybe we should include them in "Templars" or "Assassins" category. But to avoid confusion between Assassin's Creed characters and real historical figure, I'm thinking on creating a category called "Real World Historical Figure" or something like that. hmm.... in that case, I think the categories "Assassins" and "Templars" are enough. The problem now is how to avoid confusion and make it clear to the readers that, if some historical people are categorized under Assassins, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're assassins in actual life. Well... we're on a wiki concerning a game, not actual history. People should understand the difference. As for the categories, I think the category "Assassin Ally" would be good for Nikola Tesla and Marco Polo. But what about Lincoln? Let's restrain the categories creation to the absolute necessary. If Arthur was templar or assassin, put it there, if wasn't, leave him in Characters at general or somewhere like that, or nowhere at all until we find out what he is. -- D. Cello 15:44, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

hey on the homepage i there is only the assassins creed and assassins creed II game cover images as links, dont you think alty's chronicles and bloodlines should be in aswell? i got images that will fit in with the others, but im not to goo with al the code yet so i was thinking someone in admin could do it if you think its a good idea..

yeh i know what you mean, i thought about having lineage aswll, but that isnt that broad of a topic.. there is alot of negative space tho. if you tried to lay them out like:

DDDD rather than: DD DD

it may have less negative space, and look more complete and full (this is my opinion as a painter), however, its just a suggestion:) nice work again!!!

Redirecting

Hey, I tried to put create the page about Richard, an emlpoyee of Abstergo, so I pressed "Create a new article. I wrote Richard as the name of the page and creatd the page. Then it said that I can't do it because there's already a page name Richard, but there isn't. Then I noticed that if I type Richard for search, that it redirects it to Richard the Lionheart. The page about the Abstergo employee is currently named "Richard (Modern Times)". I'd like to change the article name to just Richard but I can't because of the redirecting. Could you remove the redirecting from Richard to Richard the Lionheart so I could normally name the article about "Richard"? FIKUS96 11:40, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

That's correct. You can just revert to one of Cello's previous attempts which shou;d have all the code already there. But I just remembered there's also one line of code which needs to go elsewhere. This line of code is:

showEras('title-linktabs');

Can i get the crossbow

i was just wondering if it is possible to get the crossbow because ive seen a snapshot on this i think that clearly shows the quiver containing the crossbow bolts(quarrels) i think its in social stealth ummm dont know how to sign username so its Lucan08 thx the file is called Blending.jpg and its in Social Stealth near the bottom of the page sry i didnt put a link im using a PDA or iPAQ

Vandies Warning Tempaltes

I was checking those templates again and thinking in a viable use, but... there isn't. =/ I mean, instead of having 3 warning for nonsense, maybe you could change one of them for nonsense information, one for curse words and remove of content (could be in the same template), and one as final warning? RE:Template

What I meant by "turning that chunk of code into an official template" is to turn the code into something like this one. You know, instead of copy-pasting the whole code, I could just type in {{AC}} to make it appear.
