Images

Hey Gabriel, when uploading images from comics to in-universe pages, be sure to just leave it at one image square (or whatever the proper term is) and not multiple in one image. Also, it is not required to remove text from text bubbles. Personally, I think it looks worse, since it just creates a big blob of white in the middle of images. You can't remove the bubble, so I figure you may just as well leave the text in. EDIT: There aren't any rules, putting multiple squares into one image just looks chaotic and less straightforward. ;) -- Master Sima Yi _Talk 12:49, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

Nope, the correct source would be Assassin's Creed III, with the author being Ubisoft. The license would be {{Screenshots}}. Also, the image shouldn't be of low quality. No, you don't have the rights to it, because Ubisoft created the game, and published it. They allow anyone to freely use images from the game as long as it's properly attributed (e.g. you say Ubi has all rights and stuff, which our licensing templates take care of). I'm aware the PC version comes out later, being a PC gamer myself. But as you've seen, our wiki does not allow low quality images. Using an HD PVR (capture card) for consoles - not Youtube or photographs, would be acceptable till we can up-res them with the PC screenshots. Hi, Gabe. You said that you wanted me to tell you how I want my Avatar to look; I'll try my hardest to make a good list...

Hopefully this is enough detail:

- I would like it to be more like Dishonored than Assassin's Creed; to fit the username.

- Regarding the outfit, I would like Corvo's attire, but not his mask (if you can do that?). The template can be like any of the other assassin pictures, similar to Crimson.

- For the background, could you possibly make it the void, off Dishonored? That would be awesome!

- Finally, I would just like the Avatar to be dark & kinda mysterious; to fit the name, you know?

Sorry if this is a bit much. I'm very picky when it comes to my Avatar; maybe it's my OCD?

Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass

Why you removed my edit is a mystery, would very much like an explanation otherwise I can forsee no future edits or help towards this wikia, its the second time it has been removed.

As Storm has already told you, the Sawtooth sword has the same animations as any other sword, many other users have used the sword and found no difference, so unless you can show us a source for the different animations, we can't add that to the article. I have the model files but I don't know the first thing about 3D modelling/posing. If anyone wants to take a crack at it, I can send them the files. Also, the actual model files are quite high res/detailed, so it'd look even better than the renders currently up if someone managed to do more than just screenshot them. I would have reverted them because they're too "gamey" for my tastes. As in, it draws away from the illusion that the character was actually real.

Whether Sima reverted them for a similar reason, I don't know.

Render suggestions

Hi Gabriel,

I have a few suggestions for renders to the characters page:

• Garnier de Naplouse - the art book for assassin's creed I has the full body picture of the priest (same used for Garnier)
• William of Monteferrat - is also on the art book - full body - it's one of the crusader soldiers there
• Osman - also on the art book - full body
• Fajera, Badr - there's on the internet pictures of the concept art - full body
• other characters from altair's chronicles are also available: axe warrior, basilisk (this in black and white)
• Americo Vespucci and Francesco Vecellio: they have specific cards on the recollection card game
• Ece Ashkar: In his missions on the recollection card game, there's a picture of him
• Sergei - from The chain - has a full body picture on the comic
• Azize and Tazim Al-Sayf - there's screen images of them in the game, here in the wiki.
