Hello BertH. This is all fair and I appreciate the message! So, I have to admit I wasn't aware of the app version already having enabled this feature without any of us on desktops being able to view it, so that's something I really like to get on. So correct me if I'm wrong, but this will not only replace the Forum feature but transfer any existing posts in that system over to Discussions, am I correct? If so, then that's something that we'll like to keep a close eye on ourselves, though I don't see why we won't be open to any outside help. However, as it stands right now I'm in the middle of trying to talk with other users about other things I want to set up, so I'd like to use that opportunity to discuss this with them as well. Is it alright if I get back to you on whether we'll volunteer on this at the end of the week? Don't be afraid to send me a reminder if you think I've forgotten. -- {{User:Master Sima Yi/sig}} 18:16, August 14, 2017 (UTC)

Hi BertH. Apologies for the late reply. Having taken a look at the Discussions part of the wiki, I'm very disappointed this feature wasn't enabled on the web portion of wiki earlier because in my opinion the Discussions part has more been used as a chat service by the Discussions community than as a discussion platform, leaving more responsibility for us wiki users to clean it up. However, to that end, I think it is better that we get to doing that sooner rather than later, if the change is inevitable anyway. Let's migrate. -- {{User:Master Sima Yi/sig}} 13:12, September 8, 2017 (UTC)
The general consensus seems to be that most of us prefer the current forum system and would rather use it for the time being than make the full migration to forums. However, we acknowledge the eventual migration to Discussions and will therefore start moderating the posts made there better starting now. Considering there are no immediate plans to move the Forums, when is the forced migration set to occur approximately? -- {{User:Master Sima Yi/sig}} 13:34, September 8, 2017 (UTC)

Actually, hold up; this may have been a rash decision on my part and the rest of the admins may not necessarily agree. Considering there are no immediate plans to move the Forums, when is the forced migration set to occur approximately? -- {{User:Master Sima Yi/sig}} 13:34, September 8, 2017 (UTC)

RE:Discussions and Assassin's Creed Wiki[edit source]

-- Master Sima Yi Talk 18:16, August 14, 2017 (UTC)

The general consensus seems to be that most of us prefer the current forum system and would rather use it for the time being than make the full migration to forums.
