Assassin's Creed: Limited Edition Art Book is a making-of art book released alongside the game and the respective game guide.
There are over a hundred of beautiful artwork included, completed with great insights on how the game was designed artistically. The producer, art directors and artists, and AI programmers also described in the book how the game was made, about game rules, ideas from real world climbing, the design concepts for the characters and the environment to their research process.
Concept paintings for the cities, towns and sets are included. The different sets include Masyaf, Arsuf, the lab, Damascus, Assassin's Bureaus, Acre, Jerusalem and a few discarded concepts.
Individual paintings are not credited, but there is a list of artists included at the back of the book.
