Rules

These are the guidelines to the fan-section of the Assassin's Creed Wiki.

1. Spelling and grammar: It is okay to make a few small mistakes, but do not go so far as to make mistake every single line."
2. None of the Fanon touches a main-space article. If this is found out, the user will be warned and if a second act is caught, it may result in a ban.
3. No one-liner articles. For example, if you create a page called "Random Name Here" and just write "AC is cool," then it will be deleted without hesitation.
4. With the Fanons, only give constructive criticism, no hateful messages, or anything of the sort.
5. There is to be no pornographic material due to it being against Wikia Policy.
6. Do not copy somebody else's work. That is plagiarism and is stealing another person's work. Be warned, we will know if that's done.
7. Respect not only your higher-ups but also your fellow Fanon "producers." If you respect them, they will respect you.
8. Swearing is permitted but try to keep it to a minimum, do not swear every 5 words or every one line, for example.

Templates THESE TEMPLATES ARE NOT TO BE SEEN ON ANY MAINSPACE ARTICLES These Templates can only be given out by the Fan-Section Staff Template Here The Plagiarism template will be placed if a Fanon Staff Member is alerted that somebody has stolen their fanon from an external source, if the user did not create the fanon displayed on their page then that will be removed from the page. Users do have a right to protest this template by leaving their thoughts on the Article's comment section. Template Here The Spelling/Grammar Template will be placed on an article which has shown an odd amount of spelling and grammar mistakes. If a regular editor or even Staff themselves want to fix these errors then it must be taken up with the Author of the page, if the user is given permission then the regular can proceed. If Denied though, the user must not intervene with the Author's work. Images and Sourcing Though this is mainly for Fanart and your own work, this is still apart of the Assassin's Creed Wiki which means we need to abide by the Image Policy that was created last year. Read through it thoroughly, if you do not abide by these rules your image(s) will be deleted instantly. To sum some of it down: They must be named properly. No 34556345.jpg, instead name it something along the lines of customimage.png They must be properly sourced. List of licenses and instructions on how to can be found here. Google, The Games etc.. Are unacceptable sources since they may not be where the image originated from. Read the page fully and properly to find out more of the Image Policy. Articles and Categories There is to be only 1 article per person, if we see a user has created 2 then that user will be warned and the second page will be deleted, if the user does it again it's an automatic ban. Categories will be listed under [[Category:Fanon]], under no circumstances are any Mainspace Categories to be added to Fanon articles and likewise for. If someone happens to do this they'll be warned twice and then if they're caught a third time (and they will be caught) then it will result in a ban. Editing another users' article is not permitted unless they give you Authorization, these rules apply to all including Staff unless removing/adding templates, reverting vandalism or in extraordinarily rare cases. If a user gives you authorization to edit it, it's a one-time only event. Once edited, the page is out of reach for unauthorized hands.
