youmay|Ezio's Brotherhood outfits|Assassin's Creed II Outfits}} In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, several outfits are available to those who complete certain challenges. Once an outfit is unlocked and equipped, it will alter Ezio Auditore's appearance, but, unlike armor, most of the costumes will not affect any other gameplay elements.
Outfits can be unlocked through a variety of methods, which are enumerated below.
Capes
Plain Cape
Available from the beginning.

Auditore Cape
- Main Article: Auditore Cape
Unlocked by completely rebuilding Rome.
Originally handcrafted by Maria Auditore da Firenze in her mourning of a lost child, this cape allows Ezio to show his pride for the Auditore family. It also makes Ezio permanently Incognito - a very useful feature when you wish to explore the various districts and obtain their many collectibles without being harassed by guards. Once you remove the cape, your Notoriety gauge will return to its original level.
Borgia Cape
- Main article: Borgia Cape
Unlocked by removing all 101 Borgia flags in Rome.
As long as this cape is worn, your notoriety cannot be increased nor decreased. When unequipped, notoriety will be restored to its previous level.

Medici Cape
- Main Article: Medici Cape
Unlocked by reaching level 30 or by completing the Auditore Mnemonic set in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy.

Venetian Cape
- Main Article: Venetian Cape
Unlocked by reaching level 30 or by completing the Auditore Mnemonic set in Project Legacy.
General Appearance
- "Once the basics are covered, Ezio may divert some of his income toward the sartorial elegance that is deserved of a major player in Roman political affairs. The Tailor now offers 15 new clothes and cape dyes, devoid of any gameplay influence and included purely for the pleasure of defining Ezio in your chosen style and aesthetic." - The Complete Official Guide: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Armor of Altaïr
- Main article: Armor of Altaïr
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
The Grand Master Robes of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Worn by Ezio Auditore after completing all of the Assassin's Tombs in Assassin's Creed II. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, it is worn in the last Cristina memory, and in the beginning of the game until it is lost in the Siege of Monteriggioni. Although it is says it is the armor, it does NOT change the defense stats of what you had before, as it is only an outfit.

Altaïr's Robes
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
Accesses Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's skin from the Animus databases, though it will not affect Ezio's current equipment, armor settings or the abilities of the cape he was previously wearing. The outfit actually loads the model of Altaïr, rather than just his clothing, as is visible from color of his eyes, which are lighter than Ezio's, and the fact that the player is silent during taunts, rather than using Ezio's voice.
Florentine Noble Attire
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
Worn by Ezio Auditore in Florence during the beginning of Assassin's Creed II. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, it is worn during the first Cristina memory.
Desmond Miles Skin
Unlocked by attaining 100% Synchronization in Sequence 8.
Purely cosmetic, this skin allows the player to look like Desmond Miles inside the Animus 2.0.

Raiden Skin
- Main article: Raiden Skin
Unlocked by completing every Virtual Training challenge with at least a bronze medal.
This outfit is in homage to the VR-trained cybernetic ninja from Metal Gear Solid.

Helmschmied Drachen Armor
- Main article: Helmschmied Drachen Armor
Included only with certain pre-order editions of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Impermanent Outfits
Roman Legionary Armor
Worn only in the mission "Exit Stage Right."
French Captain Armor
Worn only in the mission "Trojan Horse."
Borgia Captain Armor
Worn only in the mission "When in Rome."
Shirtless Ezio
Worn only when playing the Fight Club minigame, and briefly upon his arrival in Rome.
Armor of Altaïr with hood down
Worn only during Sequence 1, and the last Cristina Memory.

Monteriggioni Siege Clothing
Worn only during the Siege of Monteriggioni Memories.
Trivia
- When you unlock a General Apperance outfit, they become available during your next play through.
- The effect of the Auditore Cape in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the reverse of its effect in Assassin's Creed II.
