In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, several outfits are available to those who complete certain challenges. Once an outfit is unlocked and equipped, it will alter Ezio Auditore's appearance, but, unlike armor, most of the costumes will not affect any other gameplay elements.
Outfits can be unlocked through a variety of methods, which are enumerated below.
Unlocked via Story Mode
Plain Cape
Unlocked from the beginning.

Auditore Cape
Unlocked by completely rebuilding Rome.
As long as this cape is worn, your notoriety cannot be increased,nor, can it decrease. When you unequip this cape, notoriety levels will be restored.
Borgia Cape
- Main article: Borgia Cape
Unlocked by removing all 101 Borgia flags in Rome.
As long as this cape is worn, your notoriety cannot be increased. When you unequip this cape, notoriety levels will be restored.
Desmond Miles Skin
Unlockable via attaining 100% syncronization in Sequence 8.
Purely cosmetic, this skin allows the player to look like Desmond Miles both inside and outside the Animus.
Raiden Skin

Unlocked by completing every Virtual Training challenge with at least a bronze medal.
Unlocked via Uplay
Florentine Noble Attire
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
Worn by Ezio Auditore during the beginning of Assassin's Creed II. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, it is worn during the first Cristina memory.
Armor of Altaïr
- Main article: Armor of Altaïr
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
The Grandmaster Robes of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Worn by Ezio Auditore after completing all of the Assassin's Tombs in Assassin's Creed II. Was lost in the Siege of Monteriggioni
Altaïr's Robes
Unlocked by purchasing on Uplay for 20 Uplay Units.
Accesses Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's skin from the Animus databases, though it will not affect Ezio's current equipment, armor settings or the abilities of the cape he was previously wearing. This outfit removes Ezio's left hand's ring finger, and his facial hair. Ezio's running style will also mirror Altaïr's.
Impermanent Outfits
Roman Legionary Armor
Worn only in the mission "Exit Stage Right."
French Captain Armor
Worn only in the mission "Trojan Horse."
Borgia Captain Armor
Worn only in the mission "When in Rome."
Shirtless Ezio
Worn only when playing the Fight Club minigame.
Armor of Altaïr with hood down
Worn only during Sequence 1, and the last Cristina Memory.
Monteriggioni Siege Clothing
Worn only during the Siege of Monteriggioni missions.
Unlocked via Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy

Medici Cape

Unlocked by reaching level 30 in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy or by completing the Auditore Mnemonic set at level 25+

Venetian Cape
