gallery

I must ask if people are totally sure that the Templar Castle is in Jerusalem. I can't remember a Templar Castle from the game in Jerusalem, while I know there's some fortress in Acre resembling the pictures in this gallery. Also I've looked into the artbook, which I bought when I bought the game too. While the pictures are not in it, there are very similar pictures of a Templar fortress, like these pictures, stating that it is in Acre. Another point that tells me that it's from Acre is the blue atmosphere, which can also be found in the game. Now D.Cello gave me a forum or a site that says these pictures are from Jerusalem, but can you say that this site is absolutely reliable? -- Altaïr 14:17, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

That was me, not Cello. And the site stated: "Jerusalem Castle" for both pic - Duelisttri 12:25, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about the confusion. Anyway are you sure this site is reliable. Like I said I only saw a fortress in the first and second game in Acre of the Templars as it is in Richard of the Lionheart's hands. But there's no fortress or castle in Jerusalem. And the pictures resembling yours state it's in Acre. -- Altaïr 14:40, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Distance between Masyaf and Jerusalem?

I was wondering exactly how far Jerusalem is from Masyaf in kilometers or miles, because just watching the youtube playthroughs of Assassin's Creed really isn't helping in this regard. I'm writing a little fanfic about this and I kind of need some help with it because I'm not sure whether Malik would be able to get to Masyaf within 3 days (what with the differing technologies at the time and my nil-experience with riding a horse). In the game the distance is about 2.5 km. In real life i think it is about 200 IlMualim 19:10, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

379,985 km, to be accurate. StPerkele 11:31, December 25, 2011 (UTC)

Did you mean 379.985? because 379,985 is bigger than the radius of earth.IlMualim 14:42, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
