:Not *only*. It is stated that the blade taked the place of the ring finger. It was removed both as a ritual and as precaution. That way, the finger did not get in the way of the mecanism. Imagine an assassin approaching a target and activating the blade, but with his fist closed. The blade would spring out and cut his finger off. Not *only*. It is stated that the blade taked the place of the ring finger. It was removed both as a ritual and as precaution. That way, the finger did not get in the way of the mecanism. Imagine an assassin approaching a target and activating the blade, but with his fist closed. The blade would spring out and cut his finger off. Needs Fixing

Darius' tomb is inside the Santa Maria Novella , not the one mentioned in the artice ( it is the location of Leonius' tomb if im not wrong )
