Sorry, I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning as of yet, but seeing as how many pages are being created having to do with Revelations, shouldn't there be a main thing at the bottom like all the other games have...such as characters, locations, weapons to link everything together. I mean Lost Legacy has one and there hasn't been a single bit of info on that game other than "Ezio goes to Masyaf." I'm not sure how long it takes to create one of those and link everything together. By all means, take your time. I'm just saying I visit this site quite often and when I can't find any new news on the "Recently Updated" portion of the page, I feel kinda left out. Please don't be angry. Also, I couldn't really think of a better subject title.

Phaistos Disc?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaistos_Disc The coin looks like this, maybe it will be a POE. Also a claim of decipherment says : Lo, Xipho the prophetess dedicates spoils from a spoiler of the prophetess. Zeus guard us. In silence put aside the most dainty portions of the still unroasted animal. Athene Minerva, be gracious. Silence! The victims have been put to death. Silence! Andreileading 16:56, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Which "coin", was it in that short video? Tseantan 23:43, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Does anyone have any info on who is going to be the playable character in the new assassins creed? Ewil 4 life 20:15, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Il Mentore, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. That's who, and now he has a badass robe! Jackass2009 23:00, May 5, 2011 (UTC)

Not just Ezio, but Altaïr and Desmond as well -- Altaïr 23:08, May 5, 2011 (UTC)

Teaser Videos

They have released some teaser videos, perhaps the stuff in them should be mentioned.

ex: "In teaser video x, it says Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad in Arabic"

There should also be links

Ezio Again?

Alright, I was really excitied when this game was leaked but when I heard that it envolved Ezio again I was a little disappointed. Sure, Ezio is a classic character who starts in nobility, loses nearly everything he cares about throughout his life and becomes this fantastic hero, but how long does Ubisoft plan to use him in their games? This is the third main appearence(I'm not counting the DS games) already and I feel that this is getting a little repetitive. Does anybody else feel that way? Don't get me wrong, I love this series and I'll def love this game too but its just the reoccuring appearence of Ezio that has me concerned. I'd like to hear anybody's thoughts about this. Parant22 01:22, May 6, 2011 (UTC)

Just my opinion. But I think you better start a blog or something on this, otherwise you might get in a large conversation, that is irrelevant to the actual game. -- Altaïr 01:34, May 6, 2011 (UTC)

Ill do that, thanks! Parant22 02:28, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Not really disappoints me because it's happening in Constantinople and you get to use the three characters. Ezio will find seals which had Altairs memory on it. Like desmond using the animus, Ezio can access Altairs memory in those seals. Neat, eh? MakinArceneau 02:04, May 9, 2011 (UTC)

Greek Orthodox?

I assume the story is going to be based around Greek Othordox?

Hell yes. -- Master Sima Yi 14:47, May 6, 2011 (UTC)

Blog thingy

Look, as much as I think that the stuff from the blog that Steen found yesterday is true, we can NOT use that as a reliable source. Either give the info on the article a reliable source, or it will be removed. -- Master Sima Yi 12:15, May 7, 2011 (UTC)

Xboxgamezone seems to think so: http://xboxgamezone.co.uk/2011/05/06/assassins-creed-revelations-details-from-gameinformer-magazine/

Question is, is it reliable too? --Altaïr 12:29, May 7, 2011 (UTC)

"Tentative"

Labeling something "revolutionary" probably doesn't mean you're tentative about it. Just saying.

"The Black Room"

Is it at all possible that the new "Dark Room" in the animus in Revelations could have something to do with subject 16's "...find me in the "Darkness"..." ? sounds like the"Dark Room" and "Darkness" could be related in some way. maybe with Desmond's mental state subject 16 could be some sort of helper, or mentor while inside the animus repairing Desmond's shatterd memories. Just a thought, I could be way off; this is Assassins Creed after all. what do you guys think?

...sorry, forgot to sign my post, Harleyzone 16:31, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I think that the Black Room will contain Desmond's repressed memories. Also, I think they will be about Subject Sixteen and they're relationship. Maybe they are realated, considering Ezio Auditore Da Firenze is a common ancestor between the two. Possibly, they met while Desmond was still at the Farm, and Desmond doesn't know it was him. Maybe William M. is Subject 16 and his brother, beacuse William M. is also Bill Miles, Bill being a nickname for William and M. stands for Miles. Possibly they feel it is better for Desmond to stay in the dark. Just some thoughts. xV DEaD ShOT xV 23:56, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Possible Facts

Hm.. Might these be true? Master Sima Yi please confirm it for me :D

Possible Facts: (Some was already confirmed, i am not sure of the other ones, though.)

- Ezio is looking for seals in Revelations. These seals hold the memories of Alair. They'll allow Ezio to peek into Altair's life (just as Desmond uses Animus to peek into his ancestors lives).
- You'll control Altair through these sequences.
- The bulk of the game is set in Constantinople which will be split into 4 huge districts (Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial and Galata)
- You'll also visit Cappadocia
- Ezio is over 50 years old in this game
- Ezio has a new item called the hookblade which allows him to use ziplines throughout the city. UBI says that it speeds up navigation by about 30%
- You can also use the hookblade to reach out and pull enemies in for a combo
- Ezio can now make bombs through a crafting system. UBI says that there are over 300 bomb types
- They've modified the control scheme so that circle/B will control the hookblade and triangle/Y will control project weapons and bombs
- Eagles vision has become eagle sense. "Eagle sense let's you focus on a character and see where he's been," Amancio says. "You'll get an approximation of where he will go. If you're able to detect the path a guard will take, you can run ahead, set a bomb, and create a trap or an ambush."
- They've expanded on the Borgia Towers concept in order to create a new system. Throughout the city there are Assassin's Den's, you'll need to complete various assault scenarios in order take down the Templar presence (UBI says that there's more variety than in the Borgia Towers). Once you obtain a den you'll be able to upgrade the buildings in that region along with adding ziplines across the rooftops. You'll also be able to change the guards from being hostile to neutral.
- You can lose control of you dens as you gain notoriety. You'll be able to send your own troops after the templars if you're unable to make it back to the specific den that's being attacked. You can do that by making it to any of the other dens that you currently control. You'll also be able to install a master assassin to control a specific den and you'll never have to worry about it being taken over.
- The assassin leveling mechanic has been increased from 10 to 15
- In order to make the world more immersive they've done away with traditional side missions in favor of random events. For example you may be traveling through a city and notice a shop owner being robbed or a little girl asking for help
- They're using a new type of capture facial technology called Mocam that GI describes as an "intriguing amalgamation of traditional animation, performance capture and the fascinating new style of performance on display in games like LA Noire."
- Desmond is placed back inside Animus where he finds a safe mode called the 'Black Room'. You'll be able to access Desmond's lost memories through that back door
- The gameplay during Desmond's game is described as narrative-fueled puzzle sequences. "Through the manipulation and creation of geometry with the game world, Desmond seeks to reintegrate the splintered layers of his subconscious."
- Multiplayer is returning but this time they're trying to give more focus to the narrative since that's a big part of AC
- You'll be able to custom your character appearance and weapons as well as create guilds.

Yes, they are true and we already know of them. Sorry. :/ -- Master Sima Yi 07:42, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, so Master Sima Yi, can I put some of them in the page? Like the Mocam thing and the random quests instead of side missions?

"Spiritual Mentor"?

I'm a little confused to this, and it may not be a big deal. But why even begin to use these words when throughout the entire Assassin's Creed universe, they blatantly say that there are no souls, no such thing as spirits, or the afterlife or God et al. I try not to be distracted by stuff like this, as I enjoy the games. But it seems a bit contradictory to be tossing the terms around, when throughout the series they say it doesn't exist. Maybe it's a figurative thing, something along the lines of using figures of speech and such. Sorry if this is spamming or anything. I probably shouldn't have asked this question in the first place. Newtype j 01:23, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

It's most likely figurative. It's similar to how non-Christian people say "Oh my God!" even though they're Buddhists, Muslims, Atheists, etc. Bonkorz 01:14, May 10, 2011 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Thanks much for the clear up. :) Newtype j 01:23, May 10, 2011 (UTC)
