Zinc is a slightly brittle metal with a silvery-greyish hue. It is also used in the making of brass and bronze alloys.

During the Italian Renaissance, Assassins Francesco Vecellio, Tessa Varzi, and Cipriano Enu successfully led the defense of Massa Marittima and its mine against the mercenary forces of Templar Cesare Borgia. The grateful townsfolk rewarded the Assassins with ore and coal, and negotiations began for a long-term supply deal.[1] The Italian Assassins made brass using two parts copper and one part zinc.
