Zeno of Elea (c. 490 BCE – 430 BCE) was a Greek philosopher, best known for his paradoxes.
During the Peloponnesian War, Demokritos enlisted the help of the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, to recover Zeno's writings in an attempt to develop his new theory.[1]
