Yosemite Valley, 1872

Yosemite Valley, is a glacial canyon in Yosemite National Park, California. It is renowned for its granite cliffs, waterfalls, and scenic beauty. A haven for outdoor enthusiasts, it attracts millions annually to explore its trails and witness its iconic landscapes.

History[edit | edit source]

From June to November 1872, during English-born American photographer Eadweard J. Muybridge's second expedition to the region, he took several photographs including one of the valley as seen from Rocky Ford.[1]

In 2012, Muybridge's photograph of the valley was later acquired by the Assassin Clay Kaczmarek and hidden in the Animus for his successor, Desmond Miles to find.[2] Desmond did so in October of that year.[3]
