Wu Yuanheng (武元衡; 758 – 815) was a Chinese poet and politician during the Tang dynasty, serving as a chancellor during the reign of Emperor Xianzong.[1] In 815, he was assassinated while leaving his home in Chang'an, with the killers decapitating him and fleeing with his head.[2] In 822, Roshan visited the site of his death.[2]
