Wooden Mace

The Wooden Mace was a type of mace made of wood used in 5th century BCE Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra commonly found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Wooden Mace, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other maces in the same game, for example Mace of Chalkis and Poultry Pestle. These all recycle the model of the Boredom Bane and the Diamond Exchange, weapons in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
