Description
After killing Luigi and sparing Egidio's life, Ezio Auditore , disguised as Luigi, carries the chest of money to the Banker's party. Soon after arriving, the guards discover that Luigi had already been killed, and attempt to hunt down Ezio.
Dialogue
- Guard 1: Everything going well in there?
- Guard 2: We have to go Luigi, or we'll be late.
Ezio finishes donning the deceased Luigi's armor. He picks up the money, and approaches the guards and Egidio.
- Guard: The count is complete? Va bene (okay). Kill him.
- Ezio: No.
- Guard: Lucky you. Luigi says he gets to live. Lead the way, boss.
Egidio leaves, shaken, but relieved. Ezio begins to lead the guards through Rome. Depending on the route Ezio takes, the guards will indicate whether or not he is going the right way.
- Guard: Now we are going the right way.
- Guard: Soon the party will be all around us.
- Guard: We're on track.
- Guard: Now we are making good time.
- Guard: We are nearly there.
- Guard: I hope they let us go inside.
- Guard: Soon we will be there.
- Guard: I am not questioning your authority...but should we get going?
- Guard: Signore (Sir), are you all right?
- Guard: The road you are taking is very...interesting. I would not have gone this way, but who am I?
- Guard: Isn't the Banker the other way?
Eventually, Ezio reaches the Banker's party and hands the money chest over to a guard.
- Guard 3: Hand me the chest, Luigi. I will bring it to the Banker.
- Guard 4: You may enter.
The guards allow Ezio to pass, but halt the others.
- Guard: We can't go in?
- Guard 3: You have to patrol by order of Cesare.
- Guard: Porca puttana (Fuck me)!
- Ezio: (to himself) Cesare? He's here?
A new guard runs over to the others.
- Guard 5: Luigi has been killed. We discovered his body at the Pantheon.
- Guard 3: Luigi? We just let him in.
The guards begin to search for Ezio.
Outcome
The guards begin to search for Ezio, as the Assassin hunts down the Banker.
