The Wailing Wall is a part of an ancient limestone wall within the old Jerusalem.
History
In 1191, when the Levantine Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was ordered to kill Majd Addin, he discovered that Majd Addin was orchestrating executions at the Wailing Wall. In addition to Addin's victims, Addin died there as well at Altaïr's blade.[1]
