Visitazione's Secret was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.

Description

Ezio explored the Santa Maria della Visitazione's catacombs in search of the Assassin Tomb of the Roman Assassin Leonius.

Dialogue

Ezio found the entrance to the Assassin Tomb of Santa Maria della Visitazione in Venice. He entered it and dropped down into the tomb.

After dropping down and entering the tomb, he then walked onto a ledge and did a leap of faith into a haystack. Next to the haystack a guard and a brute were playing a tarot game on a table.

Brute: There is something moving over there in that haystack.

The brute got up to check the haystack.

Guard: Sit back down, we're in the middle of playing a tarot game.

Brute: No no! This time I saw something. I know it.

Guard: That's what you say every time!

The brute poked the haystack with his axe. A rat came out of the haystack and the brute got scared.

Guard: You were right, there was something in that haystack you femminuccia (sissy)!

The guard got up and walked.

Brute: I'm tired of your jokes, this isn't funny! I could have been killed!

Ezio came out of the haystack and assassinated the brute. The guard then started running away from Ezio and ran to the other Templar guard post with Ezio chasing after him. He then eventually caught up to him and assassinated him.

Ezio then saw a door in front of him with a skull like the entrance of Assassin Tombs. He pulled it and it reveals a parkour course. He activated the parkour course and 4 bars came out of the wall and a timer started. Ezio went through the parkour course and pulled the bars. After pulling all 4 of the bars, the door to the burial chamber then made the Assassin logo and stairs came out of the water, then the door opened.

Ezio then entered the burial chamber and looted the treasure there. Then, he opened the sarcophagus and and found the Assassin Seal of Leonius. He then opened a hatch on the ground and jumped into it.

Ezio then came out of a manhole leading back into the city of Venice.

Outcome

Ezio retrieved one of the six Assassin seals needed to unlock the Armor of Altaïr in Sanctuary underneath the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni.

Trivia

• Within the room which contained the freerunning puzzle was an easter egg, in which a large squid would attempt to attack Ezio with one of its tentacles, with him barely dodging it.
• It is possible to kill the fleeing Templar before he reaches the other guards. When approaching the guard post, there is a short window for the player to use throwing knives or the Pistol to kill the runner before he closes the door. If successful, the player can then sneak past the guard post.
