The Virtual Training Room missions are missions that take place in the new addition to the Animus interface. the Animus Virtual Training Program. Their purpose is to train Desmond Miles in the Animus, and to teach the player advanced moves to use in combat. The training room missions also allow you to compete online, by comparing scores on the Leaderboards. The surroundings are the background of the Animus interface.

Free Run
- Race Tutorial - Race against the clock in a short tutorial of advanced free run skills.
- Short Course 1
- Short Course 2
- Short Course 3
- Long Course 1
- Short Course 4
- Short Course 5
- Short Course 6
- Long Course 2
Stealth Assassination
- Hidden Blade
- All Weapons
- Hidden Blade 2
- All Weapons 2
- Hidden Blade 3
- All Weapons 3
Locate
- Flag Hunt
- Flag Hunt 2
- Flag Hunt 3
Combat
- Flawless Hidden Blade: This challenge Is about taking out as many enemies as possible with the hidden blade without being hit.
- Flawless All Weapons: Same as the hidden blade, but all weapons are useable
- Short Kill Streak: This challenge is about performing as many excution streaks in 45 seconds, the score is multiplied by the number of the longest streak you did during the challenge.
- Medium Kill Streak: Same as Short Kill Streak but a bit longer
- Long Kill Streak: Same as the Short kill streak challenge, however the timer is set to 2:00 minutes
Trivia
