The 2013 Egyptian coup d'état was a coup took place in July 2013 and installed Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as president. Then Abstergo employee Layla Hassan, who had been in the country since the protests of 2011, decided to reluctantly return to America to work for Abstergo again.[1]
