Veðrfölnir was a hawk that lived between the eyes of an unnamed eagle in Norse mythology.
Mythology
Veðrfölnir and the eagle were said to live perched atop the giant tree of Yggdrasil. Ratatoskr, a mythical squirrel, ran as messenger along the tree trunk between them at the top and Níðhǫggr at the bottom.[1]
