Venonis

Venonis was the name of the ruins of a former Roman settlement situated in Leicestershire, England, then part of the Roman province of Britannia.

In the late 9th century, Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan explored these ruins, finding within it one carbon ingot, a book of knowledge, a Roman artifact, a treasure map and the Hrafn Guard shield.[1]
