Venonis was the name of the ruins of a former Roman settlement situated in Leicestershire, England, then part of the Roman province of Britannia.[1]

In the late 9th century, Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan explored these ruins, finding within it one carbon ingot, a book of knowledge, a Roman artifact, a treasure map and the Hrafn Guard shield.[1]
