The Vaticano district is one of the four districts of Rome, and a location in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It is found on the west bank of the Tiber River and is the location of some of Rome's greatest landmarks, such as the Basilica di San Pietro, the Capella Sistina and the Castel Sant'Angelo.
After the events of Assassin's Creed II, Ezio flees from the Basilica di San Pietro and the Vatican guards with the help of his uncle Mario. Later, after obtaining its location from Lucrezia Borgia, Ezio races to the Vatican to obtain the Apple before Cesare Borgia gets a hold of it.
