The Untilled Plains was a bandit camp in Pan's Cradle in Arkadia, Greece. It was located in the southernmost part of the region. Used as a staging ground as bandits, many captured prisoners were executed here, resulting in the waters running completely red.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed their leader, freed their prisoners and claimed their valuables.[1]
