The University of Wittenberg, now the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, is a university in Wittenberg, Germany.
History[edit | edit source]
Although the University of Wittenberg was idealized as a place dedicated to religious reform by its by elector Friedrich der Weise, the institution had detractors even before being built. The Borgia, for one, prepared a bribe to dissuade Friedrich and his colleagues from their "foolish" project, though Assassins sent by Ezio Auditore intercepted the money and anonymously donated it to the university.[1][2][3]
