The Underwater Ruins of Dyspontion was the site of a town founded by the perioikoi, non-citizen inhabitants of Sparta, located in Elis, Greece.

Located by the mountainous route between Olympia and Elis, the community was known for joining Pisa in a revolt against Elis in 570 BCE. As a consequence, the community was destroyed and abandoned.[1]

More than 100 years later, the site was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
