The Tunguska Explosion was caused when Nikola Tesla, working for the Assassins, was trying to destroy The Staff, one of the Pieces Of Eden. The Staff's current status is unknown, but the two most plausable explainations are that it was either destroyed in the blast, or carried away to an unknown location.
