Travel with Chu Huan was a virtual representation of one of Wei Yu's disciple's genetic memories relived through the Animus.[1]

The student decided to find Chu Huan to help him with his matters.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
The disciple met Chu Huan at the entrance of the bandits' den, finding him watching over the cave from some bushes.
- Wei Yu's disciple: I see you've found the bandit camp. What have you learned?
- Chu Huan: See that? The caves over there are where the bandits have been hiding their stolen goods. Now, with their leader out, it's the perfect time to strike. Let's split up to cover more ground.
The disciple separated from him and approached the wooden platform above the cavity that stretched into the earth, eavesdropping on the rumblings of a bandit below.
- Talkative bandit: Can't wait for the boss to bring back this new batch of "goods".
The student leapt into the cavern and went further into the hideout inside, looting the scattered chests while looking for the bandits' trove. Eventually, they found two thugs amidst a conversation.
- Brash bandit: Who would have thought these Xiongnu would have some use after all.
- Stolid bandit: The last batch of them had so little meat on the bone they were practically useless.
The disciple confronted and killed the two bandits, then noticing something on one of the corpses.
- Wei Yu's disciple: Huh, there's a key on his body. I should keep it in case.
They looted the key from the body. On the next room, the disciple found Chu Huan waiting before a locked door.
- Wei Yu's disciple: Here, I found the key.
They used the key to open the door to the trove.
As you unlock the door, a sound from the front of the cave draws your attention backwards to the bandit leader entering with a row of slaves in tow—the aforementioned "goods". Knowing Chu Huan's history as a kidnapped child, you warn him not to do anything rash, but he is already leaping through the air.

The disciple and Chu Huan defeated a group of slavers hiding near Jade Spring, agreeing to keep it a secret from Yu Ying.
