- ―Description about the bow.[src]
The Toxarchos Reflex Bow was a bow commonly used throughout classical Greece during the 5th century BCE. The bows were mainly reserved for the toxarchos, Greek soldiers who served as the commander or officer in charge of a group of archers.
During the Peloponnesian War, the bow was acquired by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
