Artemis Trikalaria Camp

The Artemis Trikalaria Camp was a camp in the Erymanthos Peaks in Achaia, Greece. Found in the northern part of the region, this camp was in use by the Daughters of Artemis.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the lead huntress, and freed their captives.[1]

Trivia

  • The name references the Greek goddess of the hunt, Artemis, and especially her title Τρικληριη (Triklêriê), meaning apparently 'of three lots'.
