The Tomb of the First Pythia was a tomb located northwest of the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece. It served as the resting place of Phemonoe, the first Oracle of Delphi in Greek tradition. Outside of the tomb, a small shrine stood.
During the Peloponnesian War the tomb was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who found and deciphered an ancient stele within the depths of the tomb.[1]
