The Armor of the Dikastes was a set of armor forged by the Isu. In a simulation created by Aletheia, the armor was said to be made specifically for the Dikastes of Atlantis.
The armor was originally created by Poseidon for the Dikastes as a badge/symbol of their authority similar to their trademark staff, but just before Kassandra arrived in Atlantis, a group of Atlantean Polemarchs decided independently that the Dikastes should not have all the power in Atlantis. Thus, they stole the armor and scattered, each one taking one of the pieces with them back to their Domas. After finding one of the culprits dead and holding a note explaining what they had done, the misthios Kassandra sought out the five Polemarchs, killed them, and reclaimed the armor.[1]
An unusual feature of the armor was that it caused Isu markings to appear on Kassandra's body and face if she donned the breastplate. When asked about this, Poseidon explained that the armor simply allowed Kassandra's Isu heritage to reveal itself. [citation needed]
