The Armor of the Dikastes was a set of armor forged by the Isu. In a simulation created by Aletheia, the armor was said to be made specifically for the Dikastes of Atlantis.
The armor was originally created by Poseidon for the Dikastes as a badge/symbol of their authority similar to their trademark staff, but just before Kassandra arrived in Atlantis, a group of Atlantean Polemarchs decided independently that the Dikastes should not have all the power in Atlantis. Thus they stole the armour and scattered, each one taking one of the pieces with them back to their Domas. After finding one of the culprits dead and holding a note explaining what they had done, the misthios Kassandra sought out the five Polemarchs to find them, kill them and reclaim the armor.[1]
When the full set of armour is equipped, it causes Isu markings to appear on Kassandra's body and face. When asked about this, Poseidon explains that the armour simply allows Kassandra's Isu heritage to reveal itself.
