The Thaerelea Ruins were a ruin complex in Oxenefordscire, England. In the late 9th century, they had been repurposed as a military camp.

The Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, while working on diminishing Eadwyn's influence over Oxenefordscire, came upon part of Geadric's fyrd, who requested her help against Eadwyn's men. A large group soon attacked them, but they managed to defeat them.[1]
