Temple of Apollo

The Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Phokis, was one of the most significant and important Temples of Apollo in Greece. In classical antiquity, it served as the seat of the Pythia, the most well known Oracles of Apollo.

History

In 431 BCE, the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, sought out the Pythia in the temple, after receiving advice from Barnabas and his colleague Herodotos.[1]
