Temple Church is a landmark in London, located in Westminster.

The peculiarly shaped church was built 1185 for the Knights Templar, and was initially part of a larger complex that included residences and training grounds, as well as a crypt for ceremonies. Temple Church also functioned as a bank for noblemen, allowing the Templars to turn a profit.

In 1868, the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye visited Temple Church, assassinating Thomas Blackroot in its gardens on Henry Green's request.

In 1927, the funeral of Thaddeus Gift, Grand Master of the British Rite of the Templar Order, was held here after he was killed by the Black Cross, Albert Bolden, for embezzling money from the order. Because his corruption destroyed his reputation, no one but his son, Darius Gift and the Templar Ferris attended the funeral.
