The Teleforce was a particle beam projector invented by the Serbian American scientist Nikola Tesla, who concocted the device after studying the American physicist Robert J. Van de Graaf's electrostatic generator. Although reports indicated that no device was ever built, Tesla refuted the claims and stated he built, demonstrated, and used one.[1]
History
On 30 June 1908, Nikolai Tesla had already constructed the Teleforce weapon in the United States to strike at a Templar facility in Tunguska, Russia. Simultaneously, the Russian Brotherhood sent Nikolai Orelov and two other Assassins to the same Templar facility to retrieve the Romanov family's Imperial Sceptre after it was revealed to be a Staff of Eden.[2][3] However, Tesla activated the Teleforce before the Assassins could take the Sceptre from the facility. Before he could leave, a barrage of messages from the past and the future afflicted Orelov from the Staff. When the light beam hit the facility, all was nearly destroyed. Miraculously, Orelov somehow survived along with a shard from the sceptre.[4][3]
