Tax Collector's Mansion

The Tax Collector's Mansion was the home of the regional tax collector Suhail in Karkh in Baghdad.

History

In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq infiltrated the grounds of the mansion after finding out that a tax collector named Suhail, who was part of the Order of the Ancients under the cryptonym "Al-Anqa," was behind the attacks and robberies against foreign merchants. Basim infiltrated the mansion and found Suhail impatiently waiting for his men to bring the money. However, Basim assassinated Suhail[1] and then investigated his quarters. Basim learned that he took his orders from an unknown superior to raise the taxes and how he was funding a blockade at the harbor.[2] Before leaving, Basim found a chest, opened it, and acquired an upgrade schematic for the Abbasid Knight Outfit.[3]
