The Syrian Sabre was a sword used by the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad during the Third Crusade, and was the fourth sword given to him from his mentor, Al Mualim.[1] It was also obtainable by Ezio Auditore da Firenze during the 15th and 16th centuries. It could be purchased from any blacksmith in Florence, Venice, Forlì, San Gimignano, or Monteriggioni.[2] During his attempt to erode the Borgias' power, Ezio could also purchase the weapon in Rome.[3] Finally, Ezio could also purchase the weapon from one of the blacksmiths in Constantinople while searching for the Library of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.[4]
Weapon statistics
*In the Animus 1.28, there were no Damage, Speed or Deflect statistics. Weapon strength was based on ranks, with the Syrian Sabre being the last out of four.
