Switzerland is a country in Europe.
History
Bombastus
Around 1520, the Swiss scholar Bombastus had his laboratory in Basel, where he worked alongside his assistant Maria Amiel. The laboratory was also the place where Bombastus held the first half of the Book and where he created the Philosopher's Stone.[1]
Giovanni Borgia also visited the laboratory to deliver a Crystal Skull for Bombastus to examine it, as he was working with the Assassins at that time.[1]
When Giovanni and Maria returned from Paris, Bombastus had gone mad and had eventually dissapeared. [2]

Switzerland is also the country where Moina Mathers was born, though she didn't stay long as her family moved throughout Europe all the time, and she eventually settled down in London.[3]
