Stink bombs were a form of distractionary explosives that covers its victims in a foul odor, repelling all who came too close.
History
In the early 1500s, the Master Assassin Piri Reis taught the Italian Assassins' Mentor Ezio Auditore how to craft and use stink bombs. The Ottoman Brotherhood had found them to be useful for separating a marked target from innocent crowds, and the bombs could be made using any shell and gunpowder type combined with skunk oil.[1]
