St Pancras station

London St Pancras is a major railway terminus in central London. Opened in 1868, the station is located in the Strand. At the station's front sits the Midland Grand Hotel, designed by George Gilbert Scott.[1]

In 1868, Jacob Frye, at the behest of Maxwell Roth, detonated a significant amount of explosives within the station, and stole a train owned by the Templars[2].

Behind the Scenes

St Pancras station's layout in-game does not match its real-world counterpart. The design of St Pancras railway station's clock tower is, however, faithfully replicated as part of the fictional Lambeth Asylum.[3]

In reality, the St Pancras railway station opened on 1 October 1868, a few months after the events of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, making its appearance in the game slightly anachronistic. However, construction started in 1864,[4] meaning an unfinished version of the building would have been present in London at the time of Syndicate's events.
