The Spita was an atgeir with a bone-like design. In the late 9th century, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir bought this long weapon from the artisan Everold, who fashioned it for her in exchange for stories about Odin's travels through Niflheimr she had seen through her visions.[1]
