The Spartan Waistband was a waistband of Spartan origin sold by blacksmiths in ancient Greece.
It was said that only Spartans of royalty or those who were considered heroes could possess and wear the waistband. During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra could purchase the waistband from blacksmiths or loot it from chests and bodies during her journey.[1]
