Soknopaiou Nesos

Soknopaiou Nesos was a Greco-Egyptian village located on the northern shore of Lake Moeris, in Faiyum.

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the village as part of his quest to hunt down a member of the Order of the Ancients known as the Crocodile.[1]
