Aristaios' Breastplate was the breastplate worn by Aristaios, the commander of the Military Fort of Gla and one of the Champions of Boeotia during the Peloponnesian War in Boeotia, Greece.
Despite his status as one of the Champions of Boeotia, Aristaios apparently didn't fight often, for the armor showed no signs of damage when the Spartan misthios Kassandra claimed the breastplate from Aristaios' corpse, following his demise on the orders of the Spartan polemarch Stentor around 427 BCE.[1]
