Ariane Labed (born 8 May 1984) is a Greek-born French actress who portrays Maria in the Assassin's Creed movie.[1]
Labed has previously appeared in feature films including Attenberg, for which she won Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival, The Forbidden Room and The Lobster, as well as short films such as The Capsule, High and Dry and La Diagonale du fils.
Trivia
- Labed was familiar with the Assassin's Creed franchise prior to being cast in the movie, as she had already played some of it herself, despite not really considering herself a gamer.[2]
- Labed is fluent in French, Greek and English. She also spoke Spanish for her role as Maria.[3]
