Simon Chase was a factory worker and criminal in London at the time of the Victorian era.
Biography
Despite being a member of the Blighters, London's leading street gang, Chase had a legit job as a waste-disposal man for a factory near the Lambeth docks. Since he got paid for disposing of the waste per crate, and not per hour, Chase decided he could earn more money by simply disposing of the chemical waste by throwing it into the Thames, rather than bringing it to the waste-disposal plant.
Due to this illegal dumping of hazardous waste, Chase caught the attention of the Metropolitan Police Service, who wanted to arrest him. Sergeant Frederick Abberline worked with Jacob and Evie Frye to bring Chase in for sentencing.
