Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye (786–873), born Sigurd Ragnarsson, was a Norse Viking warrior and king of Denmark.
Biography
When his father, Ragnar Lodbrok was killed by King Ælla of Northumbria,[1] Sigurd and his brothers Halfdan, Ivarr the Boneless, Ubba, and Björn Ironside plotted their revenge.[2]
Legacy
Sigurd and his brothers were mentioned by Halfdan in 876 to Eivor Varinsdottir as he reflected on his lost brothers.[2]
